Breakfast Smoothie

3 tablespoons of ground flax seed (can be purchased ground or ground in a coffee grinder)

½ to 1 cup Knudsen's Papaya Juice

½ cup water
-
1 frozen banana (peel ripe bananas, place in plastic bag and store in the freezer)

½ cup frozen blueberries (***or other frozen fruit)
-
1 tablespoon **Tahini
-
Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth
***Make sure the frozen fruit that you use is just fruit and does not have added corn syrup or sugar!
** Tahini is sesame butter. You can get it in health food stores. It will make your drink creamy and add good calcium. You can also try a tablespoon of almond butter. I would not use peanut butter if you are nursing as babies can easily develop an allergy to peanuts early on.
